Armari Magnetar V25R-RA750G2 (Ryzen 7 1800X/Radeon Pro Duo) Workstation Review

Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V5.2.1 x64.

As we mentioned earlier in this article, the V25R–RA750G2 will ship with a Samung PM961 SSD, but Armari didn't have one available for review at the time of writing so shipped a similar OEM drive. Samsung claims 2,800MB/sec reads and 1,600MB/sec writes for the PM961, so the OEM drive isn't letting the side down too much with its performance abilities. The reads are the same, but the writes are about half as fast.
