Jack the Ripper DLC announced for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

Ubisoft is back with another Assassin's Creed game this year, though this time it will be set in London, which opens up quite a few possibilities for potential DLC. One of these DLC packs will focus on Jack the Ripper, Ubisoft announced on Sony's stage at the Tokyo Game Show today.

Right now, Ubisoft and Sony have an timed-exclusivity deal for DLC, so this extra content will likely release on the PlayStation 4 first and then move over to the PC and Xbox at a later date. A trailer for the DLC was also shown. It's not available on Ubisoft's official YouTube channel just yet, but others have managed to get it up already:

The trailer doesn't really make it clear who you will be playing as during this DLC but we do know that it will be included in the season pass. A release date wasn't made clear either so we are pretty short on specific details.

The Tokyo Game Show is still on-going so expect more announcements from Sony throughout the morning. Square Enix likely has some announcements up its sleeve as well.

KitGuru Says: A lot of people fell out of love with Assassin's Creed after last year's release. However, I am a little curious this year since the game is set in London. Have you given up on Assassin's Creed at this point? Will you be giving this year's a go?
