Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak launches in June

Last year, shortly after the successful launch of Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo Switch, Capcom announced that it would be releasing a ‘massive expansion' for the game in Summer 2022. Today, more information was finally revealed, with the Sunbreak expansion set to release for Switch and PC on the 30th of June.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will release simultaneously on Switch and PC on the 30th of June. During a stream, we also got a new look at the upcoming expansion and the new monsters that will be introduced:

Monster Hunter Rise first released in March 2021 for the Nintendo Switch, but the PC version arrived in January 2022 with some key upgrades to graphics and performance.

The Sunbreak expansion will see four new monsters added to the game, including the Garangolm, Lunagaron, Astalos and the Blood Orange Bishaten. The expansion will be accompanied by a new set of amiibo for the Switch version.
