The folks at People Can Fly have been working on Outriders for a while now but as 2020 came to an end, the team behind the game realised they were going to need some extra time in development. As a result, Outriders is being pushed back an extra few months.
Outriders was initially due to release on the 2nd of February but it will now be coming out on the 1st of April instead. It’s not all bad news though – the developers will be releasing a free demo for interested players to check out ahead of release.

The demo will be coming out on the 25th of February, giving players a look at the first few hours of the game with all four playable classes present. The demo will include both single-player and co-op modes and all progress made will carry over to the final game in April.
For those who don’t know, Outriders is a third-person shooter with some light RPG elements. Players will take on the role of an expedition team on an alien planet looking for the source of a mysterious signal while in the middle of a massive energy storm. It can be played as a single-player game, or you can play in a team of three with friends.
