South Park: The Fractured But Whole made quite the impression at E3 last year but unfortunately, repeated delays have kept it out of our hands for far too long. Today though, Ubisoft has finally given us another update on the game, with a new release date set, alongside an all new trailer.
The trailer this time around sets the premise for the story, crime is on the rise in South Park and thus, the superhero team Coon and Friends is formed. You can see the trailer below, it’s certainly worth the watch if you’re a South Park fan.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now be releasing on the 17th of October, following the game’s most recent delay out of Q1 2017. This is a lot later than the game was initially due to come out but hopefully, there will be no further delays after this.
Aside from South Park, Ubisoft has a slew of other big launches planned for this year, including Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed: Origins and a sequel to The Crew.
KitGuru Says: I must admit, the delays have brought down my ‘hype’ levels for this game quite a bit. Hopefully that will change once we get closer to the final release date though. Are you guys glad to see a new release date for this game? It has been a long time since we last heard any news.
