SCUF announces NOMAD Bluetooth iPhone controller

SCUF is one of the biggest names when it comes to producing high-end 3rd party video game console controllers, with the manufacturer giving PlayStation and Xbox users the option for backpaddles and more far ahead of any official console offerings. SCUF now looks set to tackle the mobile gaming market, announcing the NOMAD Bluetooth iPhone controller.

Available in black or white and retailing for £99.99, the SCUF NOMAD is a Bluetooth 5.0 powered iPhone controller which is said to bring “your favourite features to a fully mobile experience.”

Such features include customisable rear paddles; improved ergonomics with full-sized grips; hall effect thumbsticks for reduced drift; and a bespoke SCUF app for increased customisation.

Beyond this, the Bluetooth-enabled controller is said to have a 16 hour battery life on full charge as well as a design which allows for maximum phone case compatibility.

Despite being a Bluetooth controller, the SCUF NOMAD is currently only compatible with iPhones running iOS 16 and later. That said, it wouldn’t be surprising to see an Android version announced sooner rather than later.
