Mod turns Grand Theft Auto IV in to Watch Dogs

You can now hack things in Grand Theft Auto IV, thanks to a new mod that transforms the game in to Watch Dogs. The mod is available now and lets Nico Bellic take on the Aiden Pearce persona.

Players can hack in to pay phones, cash machines, ticket machines, wall lights, trains, traffic lights, road blocks, cameras, vending machines and even parked cars.

The GTA X YouTube channel has posted a lengthy video showing off the mod and all of the functionality that it adds to the game: [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vntTG3wRVyA#t=223′]

We've seen lots of great mods release for Grand Theft Auto IV over the years, upping the game's graphical fidelity, adding in super heroes and now transforming it in to an Ubisoft title.

Additionally, if you feel like hacking in a new city, the Watch Dogs Twitter account has teased DLC, which will see players visit New Jersey.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.

  1. No, you can’t get this on your xbox don’t even ask

  2. I have tried the mod, running on a 5:4 monitor ( 1280×1024 ) and it still has some UI bugs regarding the radar positioning both on left and right positions. Also, traffic lights still show red even if you hacked them allowing the civilian cars to rush away. Had some trouble exiting the camera because there’s no readme with the keys, funny animation bugs on your character while viewing from CCTV and some more. It’s ok, but i got bored of it in 10 minutes.

  3. SO THAT MEANZ ITS ON TEH PS4 THEN? SIK GUY INNIT THATS SOO COOL
