PSVR2 discount sees sales skyrocket by almost 2500%

In anticipation of the upcoming PC launch for Sony’s PlayStation VR2 headset, the company began offering a heavy discount on the peripheral – bringing it as low as £329.99. This strategy appears to already be paying off, as PSVR2 sales have since increased by over 2000%.

As reported by The Shortcut, the recent price cut for PSVR2 has led to a massive increase in sales, with the publication reporting an rise of over 2350% in a 24 hour period.

In fact, according to The Shortcut, this single 24 hour period saw more PSVR2 unit sales than the rest of 2024 combined (in the US), causing many retailers to sell out of stock.

In the UK at least, you can still get PSVR2 units for this heavily discounted price, and so if you were at all interested in purchasing the headset, now might be the best time to do so.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
