AOC is launching a 45-inch 240Hz OLED gaming monitor

Last week, Display Specifications caught wind of a new AOC Agon monitor, sporting a massive 45-inch OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. AOC doesn't appear to have officially announced this monitor yet but from what we know so far, it sounds like it is going to be very good.

The AOC AGON AG456UCZD sports a 45-inch curved ultrawide OLED panel made by LG. Thanks to OLED technology, you get per-pixel lighting, making for perfect black levels and great HDR. The panel also has a very low 0.03ms response time and a very high 240Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming.

According to Display Specifications, the monitor has a 1000 nits peak brightness, which would suggest HDR1000 certification. Like the Corsair Xeneon Flex, this is a 3440×1440 ultrawide monitor, so you'll get a lot of screen space to work with.

Other features include USB Type-C with 90W power delivery, two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a direct headphone jack and two 8W internal speakers.

We unfortunately don't have pricing or availability information yet and the official product page is not yet live on the AOC website.

KitGuru Says: With specs like these, this is bound to be a high-end monitor.
