Fallout TV Show’s 2nd season officially confirmed

We seem to be in a renaissance of sorts when it comes to video games being adapted into other media. Following the likes of HBO’s The Last of Us, Peacock’s Twisted Metal and the Gran Turismo film, Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show has released to a wave of praise. It therefore comes as no surprise that a second season has now been officially confirmed.

Just a week after the simultaneous release of all 8 episodes of Amazon’s Fallout TV show, the distributor has confirmed that a second Season is on its way, taking to Twitter to say:

“Wouldn't want to keep you on the edge of your seat, now, would we? See you back in the Wasteland for SEASON 2”. Alongside the announcement, a promotional photo was shared of the show’s primary protagonists.

As mentioned, the Fallout TV show released last week to near universal recommendation – managing a Rotten Tomato of 94% from critics with an average score of 7.9 out of 10. Audience reception has been equally as positive, with an 88% on RT averaging 4.4 out of 5.

The Fallout TV series took quite some time to come to fruition, being first announced back in 2020. That said, with the overwhelming success of the first season, hopefully development on its follow-up is fast tracked.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
