HBO’s The Last of Us TV series to premiere in January

We're just over a month removed from HBO's The Last of Us TV series trailer debut.  At the time, a premiere date was not announced, but it seems the adaptation of Naughty Dog's beloved game will be airing very soon.

Following on from rumours that the release date would be announced this week, the HBO Max streaming page for The Last of Us has been updated, saying that the first episode will premiere on the 15th of January.

That is a little over two months away, so we could be watching this new rendition of Joel and Ellie's journey very soon. The official trailer for the series debuted in late September, giving us a brief look at what's to come in the first season.

HBO's The Last of Us series will star Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
