BioWare teams up with Netflix for Dragon Age animated series

We've recently heard that EA is looking to bring Mass Effect to the small screen with a TV series produced by Amazon. As it turns out, EA had another show in the works, a Dragon Age animated series, which will be releasing on Netflix later this year.

Dragon Age: Absolution will be coming to Netflix this December and is being made by the same studio behind The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which came to Netflix last year.

It will be a quick watch, with the first season coming in at six episodes. These episodes won't be treading old ground though, as the series features a new cast of characters, separate from the games. However, the show will still lean on and remain authentic to Dragon Age lore.

Aside from this Dragon Age Netflix series, BioWare is also reportedly in talks to work with Amazon on a Mass Effect TV series. So far, nothing official has been announced though.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
