Blizzard will finally update us on Warcraft 3: Reforged this month

While Blizzard initially pitched Warcraft 3: Reforged as a complete reimagining of the classic RTS, that was far from what we ended up getting. The final game did not live up to expectations and went on to become one of the worst rated games on Metacritic in 2020. Blizzard has been quiet about the game since then, but updates are finally on the way.

This week, Blizzard President, Mike Ybarra, answered a fan asking about news for Warcraft 3: Reforged, and to our surprise, he responded, confirming that there will be new updates in June.

Warcraft 3: Reforged was last patched in April 2021, and the last time Blizzard made any real noise about the game was early 2020, when Blizzard acknowledged criticism of the game and promised continued bug fixes.

We don't know what the next major Warcraft 3 Reforged update will include, but it will likely include improved social and multiplayer features.

KitGuru Says: Warcraft 3: Reforged was a huge disappointment, especially considering the initial reveal looked really good. Perhaps Blizzard has quietly been working away on some meaningful improvements since then.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
