LG shows off new line-up of 4K gaming monitors

LG is preparing to launch three new UltraGear gaming monitors in the coming months, including one high-refresh OLED model, as well as two Nano IPS displays.

Starting with the 32GQ850, this monitor uses a Nano IPS panel with ATW (Advanced True Wide) Polarizer for more realistic colours. Thanks to its QHD resolution, 260Hz refresh rate (OC) and 1ms G2G response time, this 32-inch monitor is very capable for high-end PC gaming. It also features HDR and Adaptive Sync features, like G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro, offering a tear-free gaming experience regardless of your GPU. Connectivity options include 2x HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, a USB 3.0 upstream, two USB 3.0 downstream, and a 3.5mm headphone jack supporting DTS HP: X. In addition, the included stand offers pivot, tilt, and height adjustment capabilities.

Moving on to the 48GQ900, this 48-inch 4K OLED gaming display offers a 138Hz refresh rate (OC) and 0.1ms G2G response time. The display covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum and supports HDR10 content playback. The monitor also comes equipped with 2x 20W speakers, 3x HDMI interfaces, a DisplayPort, a USB 3.0 upstream, two USB 3.0 downstream, and a 3.5mm headphone jack supporting DTS HP: X.

Finally, we have the 32GQ950, featuring a 4K Nano IPS panel with ATW Polarizer, HDR, 1ms G2G response time and 160Hz refresh rate (OC). Like the 32GQ850, it can cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space and supports G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro. The stand and connectivity interfaces are the same as the 32GQ850's.

The new LG gaming monitors will become available in Japan this month. The North American, European and remaining Asian markets will follow shortly.
