Pictures of alleged RTX 4090 Ti shows a similar design to RTX 30-series cards

Three months before the launch of the RTX 30 series, leaked photos have us an early look at the heatsink used for the reference RTX 3090 FE cards. History is apparently repeating itself with the RTX 40 series, as the first alleged pictures of the RTX 4090 Ti have been shared a few months ahead of the rumoured release.

The photos were first posted at Chiphell (via Wccftech), but the thread has since been removed. Overall, the heatsink looks like the one used in the RTX 3080/3090 series FE cards, using a dual-axial fan design comprising two opposing fans pointing to the heatsink. However, the photos suggest the cooler base of the new design uses a large block covering the GPU and the memory modules.

The heatsink itself looks to have more fins than the one used in the RTX 3090 Ti, which makes sense considering the rumoured 450W TDP of the card. In addition, the shape of the heatsink indicates Nvidia will retain the V-shaped PCB for its FE cards, at least in RTX 4090's case.

Pictures of the card's inner frame were also shared, with a small engraving that reads “RTX 4090 Ti”. Whether this was photoshopped is hard to say due to the picture's low resolution, so better take these pics with a grain of salt.

KitGuru says: Assuming these photos are legit, do you agree with Nvidia's decision to maintain the reference cooling design for the new RTX 40 series cards?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
