Stadia Pro’s free February games are actually good

Despite the clear lack of interest from most parties, Google is continuing to offer free games to those who are subscribed to the company’s game streaming service, Stadia. For the month of February, players can actually get their hands on a number of high quality and exciting new titles.

Making the announcement on their blog, the Stadia team revealed the list of games being given away for free to all those with a Stadia Pro subscription:

  • Cosmic Star Heroine
  • Nanotale
  • Merek's Market
  • Phogs
  • One Hand Clapping
  • Life is Strange
  • Life is Strange: Before The Storm

Alongside the list of games being rather expansive, the best part is the fact that both Life is Strange and Before the Storm are their remastered versions, which are set to launch on the first of February.

This remastered collection comes with a wide number of major improvements to the critically acclaimed series, including seeing the addition of full facial motion capture; engine and lighting upgrades; and updated gameplay – to name but a few improvements.

Of course, Google Stadia is a streaming-only service, and so players must be aware that the quality of the games are entirely reliant on the speed of your internet. Still, if you are one of the few who are subscribed to Stadia Pro, February’s line-up is one of the best yet.
