G.Skill launches Ripjaws S5 low-profile DDR5 memory with up to 6000MHz speeds

This month, G.Skill has been announcing its plans for the upcoming launch of DDR5 memory. We've already seen the flagship Trident Z5 series of DDR5 memory announced, but G.Skill does have other DDR5 products prepared, including the low-profile Ripjaws S5 series.

Rather than using a full-sized heatsink design, the Ripjaws S5 series of DDR5 memory kits will feature slim, low-profile heatspreaders, making them perfect for smaller, more compact PC builds. As usual though, each G.Skill kit is built with hand-screened, high-performance memory ICs that have been validated through strict performance testing.

The G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 memory kits will be available in matte black or matte white, offering speeds up to 6000MHz, making this an ideal choice for high-performance DDR5 memory at launch. Memory kits will also start at 16GB per module, going up to 128GB per module, so expect some very high capacity kits in the months to come.

G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 memory will be available worldwide starting in November 2021, alongside DDR5-supported motherboards and Intel Alder Lake processors.
