You can now watch Gabe Newell hand delivering Steam Decks

Last week, the Steam Deck officially began shipping to the first wave of pre-order customers. It didn't take long for reports of Valve founder, Gabe Newell, hand delivering Steam Decks to hit the web, and now Valve has uploaded the footage too.

In celebration of the Steam Deck launch, Gabe Newell and a couple of camera operators hit the streets of Bellevue to hand deliver some of the first Steam Decks. Valve has now shared footage of the customer reactions:

In the beginning of the video, we learn that Valve did send out emails to select customers the day this was happening, so they knew the Deck was arriving, but Gaben being on the other side of the door was a surprise. Obviously, Newell can't tour the world delivering Steam Decks, so these visits were limited to those who live near Valve's HQ in Bellevue, Washington.

The Steam Deck is now shipping out to the first pre-order customers, and more units will continue to ship throughout the year. Currently, Valve has a pretty big waiting list for the Deck, so it will take months to fulfil all pre-orders.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
