CD Projekt Red will reveal Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen and new patch tomorrow

In recent months, leaks have suggested that CD Projekt Red will announce the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Cyberpunk 2077, and the next major patch, in mid-February. Now, the studio has confirmed this, announcing a stream taking place tomorrow.

In late January, new box-art leaked for the new console versions of Cyberpunk 2077, but CD Projekt chose not to comment, remaining silent while it continues to work on the game's next major update and soft relaunch. Tomorrow, the 15th of February, some of our burning questions will be answered during a livestream:

The stream should focus on new improvements made with the patch, as well as the upgrades made to the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S compared to the PS4 and Xbox One. We should also expect to finally start hearing about free DLC content rolling out again.

Whether or not CD Projekt Red will tease more for the future of Cyberpunk 2077 remains to be seen. At this point, we know multiplayer is being experimented with, and the first expansion is also in the works – presumably with a 2022 release date in mind.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
