Westworld co-creator to work on Fallout TV series

We've known for a while now that Amazon is teaming up with Bethesda to produce a TV series based on Fallout. Now, we have a few more details, with Westworld's co-creator signing on to produce and direct.

The premiere episode of the Fallout TV series will be directed by Jonathan Nolan, previously known for co-creating and producing Westworld for HBO. Other Westworld producers, Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham, will also be involved with the Fallout series, which is being made by Kilter Films for Amazon Prime.

The Fallout TV series might be the only piece of Fallout media we get for quite some time, as it seems that Fallout 5 might be about a decade away, based on previous comments from Bethesda's Todd Howard.

The Fallout TV series does not have a release date yet, but the show is currently in pre-production, so it is likely still another couple of years away from hitting Amazon's streaming service.

KitGuru Says: Fallout could lend itself very well to a TV series, but sometimes video game adaptations do go awry. Will you be looking forward to this?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
