EVGA teases first AMD-based motherboard

It looks like EVGA won't just be making Intel-based motherboards anymore. This week, the company began teasing a new motherboard for Ryzen processors.

The teaser is just nine seconds long, teasing a new EVGA DARK series motherboard. The Zen logo appears on screen behind the Dark logo, indicating that we'll be getting an X570, or possibly an X570S motherboard.

Unfortunately, no launch date was revealed as part of the teaser, so we have no idea when this motherboard will be officially announced.

As VideoCardz points out, EVGA introduced a new Intel Z590 Dark motherboard earlier this year with 22-phase VRM and large heatsinks for cooling. A similar design could be used for an X570S chipset motherboard, removing the need for an active cooling fan.

KitGuru Says: Hopefully we'll know more about this mysterious motherboard and when it will launch in the weeks to come. Would you buy an EVGA motherboard for an AMD system?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
