Next iPad Pro expected to get 5G and mini-LED display technology

In a short tweet from known leaker L0vetodream, it has been claimed that the upcoming iPad Pro models will be equipped with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem and will use mini-LED display technology.

Apple ships millions of tablets each year, and even though its market share has shrunk in the past few years it still stands as world's biggest tablet manufacturer. Even though the launch of the next iPad Pro series is expected to be at least six months away, that hasn't stopped new rumours and leaks popping up.

This time around it's @L0vetodream who claims that the next gen iPad Pro will be equipped with mini-LED screen technology and a Snapdragon X55 modem. His claims carry some weight since, according to 9to5Mac, “@L0vetodream correctly predicted the launches of the current iPad Pro, Magic Keyboard, and iPhone SE.”

The Snapdragon X55 modem comes with support for both standards of 5G – mmWave which is capable of delivering faster speeds, and sub-6GHz which offers greater range.

Mini-LED should not be confused with Micro-LED, as the former of the two is already commercially available whereas the latter is yet to hit the market. Mini-LED still offers many advantages in comparison to LED screens, including increased power efficiency, higher contrast ratios, increased brightness and deeper blacks.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
