Cyberpunk 2077 will launch with RTX ray-tracing

Cyberpunk 2077 is on the way and it will be coming out much sooner than anticipated. The game already looks incredible based on the early footage we saw last year but it is going to look even better at launch, with real-time ray-tracing being added to the PC version.

CD Projekt Red is working with Nvidia to bring ray-tracing to Cyberpunk 2077, which will add an additional layer of realistic detail to the dense, urban environments of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated games this generation. We’ll all get the chance to finally play it soon too, with a release date set for April 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of several newly announced games to be supporting Nvidia’s RTX graphics initiative. Watch Dogs Legion and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have also recently joined the full list of games to support real-time ray-tracing.

KitGuru Says: CD Projekt Red also worked with Nvidia on Hairworks for The Witcher 3, so this shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. From the sounds of it, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be a graphical showcase.
