In terms of design, not much has really changed since the MSI MPG 321URX that we reviewed a couple of years ago. That's no bad thing as it's a generally inoffensive looking monitor, though I was just a little disappointed to see MSI didn't update to the metal foot that we saw used with the 341CQR earlier this year.
We can see one change, though, with the addition of the AI Care Sensor below the chin, but more on that a little later.
The stand offers a good amount of ergonomic adjustment. We get up to 110mm height adjustment, 30 degrees of swivel left and right, tilt from -5 to +15 degrees, alongside 10 degrees of pivot either direction. That does mean no full 90 degree pivot so it cannot be used vertically, but VESA 100×100 mounts are supported if that's something you are particularly keen on.
I/O is what we'd expect for a monitor in 2026, featuring 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 2.1 at the full UHBR20 bandwidth, alongside 1x USB-C port that can do 98W power delivery plus support for DP Alt mode. There's a USB-B upstream, two USB-A downstreams, and an audio jack. KVM functionality is supported through either the USB-C or USB-B inputs.
We also find a joystick used to navigate the OSD, flanked by the power button and one Gaming Intelligence button, the latter of which can be customised in MSI's software.
