Sony to show off Project Morpheus at GDC

Sony apparently has a four-hour long Project Morpheus event planned for the Games Developers Conference next month. The PlayStation VR headset will be shown off in detail on the 3rd of March, Sony will also be going over its future plans for virtual reality.

It is likely that the headset will have received some improvements since its initial unveiling last year, although this is just speculation for now. GDC attendees will be given “hands-on demos of the system, along with an update on the company’s plans for virtual reality”.

There is also a one hour Project Morpheus session scheduled for the 4th of March, titled ‘Beyond Immersion'. It will be interesting to see how far Sony has come and what it has planned for the future, since it has now been around a year since we first saw Project Morpheus.

Additionally, the Oculus Rift is due to release to consumers this year and Microsoft just showed off the Holo lens a few months ago.
