If Bethesda is known for one thing, it’s featuring a ton of bugs in its games. Luckily, dedicated modders have for years kept the likes of Fallout 4 stable with countless mods, bug fixes and other optimisations – a majority of which were recently broken thanks to Fallout 4’s controversial Anniversary update. Just a few weeks later and a double-edged sword of an announcement has been made, with Fallout 4 set to receive yet another update which many fans have not been asking for.

2018 was a massive year for Bethesda Game Studios, with the team not only showing off Starfield for the first time during their E3 presentation, but also giving fans their first teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI. In the 7 years since, we’ve received little-to-nothing regarding the next Elder Scrolls, with Bethesda’s Todd Howard now claiming that the much-anticipated title is “still a long way off.”

Following its release through the beta branch earlier this month, the May update for Starfield is finally available for all to download.

With the teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI having been released over 6 and a half years ago, it's now older than Skyrim was when the sequel was first announced.

6 years on following its disastrous launch, Fallout 76 has reached a new milestone - surpassing 21 million total players.

Despite being on Game Pass, in the past half a year Starfield has only managed to gain 1 million additional players - bringing the total to 15 million.

Just over a year ago, Bethesda Games Studios released Starfield – a ‘big space game’ which had been ruminating in Todd Howard’s mind for over 25 years. Despite its grand ambitions, the title saw a mixed reaction from fans, though positive critic reviews. Unfortunately, it seems as though Starfield’s first expansion ‘Shattered Space’ has failed to impress players on both sides.

After swirling around in Todd Howard’s head for 25 years, we finally saw the release of Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield last year. With every major Bethesda game comes a flurry of mods and typically, one of the most installed mods is an unofficial patch that fixes bugs that have persisted in Creation Engine games. There were heavily-downloaded unofficial patches for Skyrim, Fallout 4 and soon, Starfield will join that list. 

Bethesda Game Studios' highly anticipated RPG, and first new IP in decades, Starfield, is no longer releasing in 2022. This afternoon, Bethesda announced that the game has now been pushed to 2023, and Redfall from Arkane Studios has also been pushed out of 2022. 

Yesterday was very interesting for those following the Starfield leaks and rumours scene. A forum user by the name of Hevy008, claiming to be a former Bethesda Game Studios artist, began sharing new details on Starfield, seemingly not knowing that they were breaking NDA.
