With almost a decade of bloat across countless updates, Bungie is looking to make the onboarding for new Destiny 2 players “a more curated experience.”

Ahead of the launch of Edge of Fate, Destiny 2 is offering a free open access period featuring all of the game’s expansions and its most recent episodes.

Bungie has been quiet on the subject of Marathon since the game's alpha ended earlier this year. The game had been on track for a September launch but today, Sony and Bungie made the surprise announcement that the game has been delayed indefinitely.

Bungie recently suffered another blow for Marathon, with reports indicating that employees are concerned for the game internally after the company was found to have included stolen art in the recent alpha build. Now, Sony might be preparing to delay the game.

This week, Bungie found itself in hot water again after another instance of the studio stealing art. Bungie was quick to admit that stolen art did appear in the Marathon alpha build but the studio may have bigger problems on its hands. 

Bungie has confirmed that the recent Marathon alpha included stolen artwork across various parts of the game. However, the problem is somehow worse than it first seems.

Sony has announced a new member to the PlayStation Studios family. The new studio, teamLFG, is founded by former Bungie employees.
