Control Resonant is just a couple of weeks away from launch. In preparation, Remedy has now released the game's official PC system requirements, giving options for 1080p, 1440p and 4K, as well as a separate set of hardware recommendations for Ray Tracing and Path Tracing. 

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Remedy debuted the final trailer for Control Resonant, confirming a September 24th release date for the sequel.

Alongside the announcement that the game had gone GOLD, Remedy revealed that the physical edition of Control Resonant will be delayed slightly into October.

Control Resonant is shaping up to be a significantly longer game than its predecessor. According to lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov, the sequel’s main campaign will run for around 30 hours, with a full completionist playthrough expected to reach roughly 50 hours.

In a surprise announcement, the much-anticipated Control Resonant is getting 48 hours of Advanced Access – but only on PlayStation 5.
