Edifier has just released the TWS6 earbuds in the UK. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0, IPX5 water and sweat resistance, and up to 32 hours of battery life, these earbuds come equipped with high-clarity balanced armature drivers from Knowles to deliver “outstanding sound quality”.
Winners of an iF Design Award 2020 for consumer electronics, the TWS6 comes in a compact 12mm design with an ‘electroacoustic structure’ to reproduce crisp and high-resolution audio. It also uses clear Voice capture (cVc) noise cancelling to deliver a ‘more immersive’ sound experience and improve the quality of calls.
Alongside Bluetooth 5.0 technology, the TWS6 use Qualcomm aptX audio and what Edifier calls the ‘Laser Direct Structuring’ antenna to reduce audio latency and offer an enhanced range of up to 10 meters. Additionally, there are also touch controls to use voice assistant, pause and play, and to accept and end calls.
From a single charge, the TWS6 earbuds can last up to 8 hours of continuous playback, but the wireless charging case can offer an additional three charges, giving total play time of 32 hours. The case itself charges via USB-C.
Additionally, the IPX5 rating ensures that these earbuds are resistant to water and sweat. Earbuds are provided in three different styles – foam, silica and ear wings – with a range of size options included.
The Edifier TWS6 earbuds are available now for £89.99/$119.99. You can learn more about them HERE.
