Acer XB243YK V3 pairs 24-inch 4K panel with 160Hz refresh rate

Acer has listed a new compact gaming display in China, the XB243YK V3. The monitor pairs a 23.8-inch Fast IPS panel with a 4K resolution, delivering 185 PPI in a small footprint. 

According to ITHome, the Fast IPS panel features a 1ms G2G response time and a peak brightness of 400nits. Acer's marketing states the display has a 160Hz refresh rate, an 8-bit colour depth, 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and HDR10 support.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection. Acer has also added 2x 2W speakers for basic audio needs. The included stand supports full ergonomic adjustments, including height, tilt, and rotation, along with standard 100x100mm VESA mounting.

In China, the monitor is set to cost CNY1,699. This equates to around £190, before taking into account import fees and VAT, which would add to any final retail price in the UK market.
