The Witcher Goodies Collection is currently free on GOG

GOG, the PC games store owned by CD Projekt is currently hosting a spring sale. Amongst all the deals, The Witcher Goodies Collection is being offered for free, giving fans of the series a collection of bonus and ancillary content across the entire Witcher series, including soundtracks, wallpapers, making-of videos and more. The collection will only be available for free until tomorrow at 2pm.

The Witcher Goodies Collection is currently available and includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concert at various resolutions from standard definition all the way up to 4K; The Witcher Goodie Pack 1 and 2; The Witcher 2 Goodie Pack 1 and 2; The Witcher 3 Goodie Pack and Bonus Pack; and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Goodie Pack.

These packs include art, books, soundtracks, making-of videos, wallpapers, and much more. If you’re a fan of the Witcher series, then this collection is certainly worth picking up. As mentioned, the giveaway is only available until the 18th of March at 2pm, so you have to be quick in order to pick it up.

The Witcher series is of course one of video games’ biggest franchises currently, with the series selling over 40 million copies – and the 3rd game accounting for over half that number on its own. Though based on books, the popularity of the games helped spawn a Netflix series (which has been renewed for a second season), and though CD Projekt Red have confirmed that they will not create The Witcher 4, the studio announced that the next game, following Cyberpunk 2077 will be set in the Witcher universe.

Until then, this Goodies Collection should serve as a great way to learn more about the franchise’s lore and provide an even greater appreciation of the series as a whole. The Witcher Goodies Collection can be found HERE.

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
