LG unveils the UltraGear 27GR95UM 4K Mini LED monitor

LG recently unveiled a new addition to their UltraGear series of gaming monitors – the LG 27GR95UM. As far as we know, the monitor will be exclusive to the Chinese market, but we hope to see it (or a similar model) available worldwide soon.

This 27-inch 4K Nano IPS display boasts a nativel refresh rate of 144Hz and an overclockable refresh rate of 160Hz. It employs the latest LG panel with a mini LED backlight featuring 1,560 local dimming zones, ATW anti-glare technology, and a GTG reaction time of 1ms.

The LG 27GR95UM covers 99% of the sRGB colour space, 92% of the Adobe RGB colour space, and 99.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space. It is VESA DisplayHDR 1000-certified, with an SDR brightness of 550 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1250 nits (at 10% white). LG 27GR95UM has various gaming-specific features, such as Black Equaliser, Crosshairs, Game Mode, and Dynamic Action Sync.

The non-screw attachable stand of LG 27GR95UM has a V-shaped base with rear ambient lighting and can be adjusted in height, tilt, and pivot. The monitor features two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-B 3.2 Gen 1 upstream port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, and a headphone jack with DTS: X compatibility. It is both Nvidia G-Sync compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro-certified.
