Akasa Venom Cooler Review

Akasa supplies the Venom inside a large cardboard box with a green theme and a small clear window at the front. The window is too small to provide a clear view of the entire cooler and only the green bladed fan is clearly visible.

There is no picture of the cooling body itself on any of the sides of the box, which is fairly strange. Inside the box the cooler is encased inside a plastic shell body, ensuring its safety during transportation.

Akasa have bundled only the absolutely necessary parts with the Venom cooler, no fancy trinkets or case badges are to be found inside this package. The bundle consists of the two backplates and retention brackets needed for the installation of the cooler on various sockets, a tube of normal thermal compound (which is disappointing for a product of this class), 8 rubber installation studs for the main fan and for a second fan (not included) and finally a typical black and white manual.
