Nvidia RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition 8GB Review

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth instalment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. (Wikipedia).

We test using the Ultra preset with the DX12 API. Battlefield V was the first game released with Nvidia RTX ray tracing features (called DXR in game) and we present average frame rates for the game with DXR Off, and then again with DXR set to Ultra.

Battlefield V, with its ray traced reflections, hits frame rates hard – the 2070 SUPER averaged 64FPS with DXR Ultra, versus 120FPS with DXR off. You can still play with DXR on at 1080p and 1440p with this card, but performance isn't even close to what you get with DXR off.

Crimson Desert climbs up to ‘very positive’ score on Steam across over 100k reviews

Crimson Desert was a hotly-anticipated brand new IP prior to its official launch earlier this month, with the ambitious open-world title garnering a ton of attention thanks to its pretty visuals, freeform gameplay and player agency. Upon its launch however, the game suffered from a number of issues, including rather awkward controls. Fortunately, the team at Pearl Abyss have been quick to respond to criticisms – with Crimson Desert having now climbed its way to a ‘Very Positive’ score on Steam.
