Sapphire launches Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition graphics card

Sapphire has a new Radeon RX 6900 XT on the way. The Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Edition already exists but soon, an upgraded RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition will be available, featuring higher clock speeds and potentially the Navi 21 XTXH GPU – which was recently used to break a GPU overclocking world record

Like the Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Edition, the Extreme model comes with Sapphire's Toxic AIO cooling solution featuring a 360mm radiator with 3x 120mm fans and a blower-style cooler covering the PCB. According to Sapphire, this cooling solution prevents the GPU from exceeding 85ºC while also keeping the operating noise levels below the 36dBA. The dual bearing fans used on the radiator work in tandem with the new hybrid fan for the VRM and Memory cooling module to keep everything in check.

As you would expect from a high-end GPU, there is a dual BIOS function. The card also has multiple ARGB LEDs in the shroud, in the backplate, on top of the card, and in the centre of the radiator's fans. Users may configure the ARGB lighting in the Sapphire Trixx or synchronise with other components connecting the 3-pin RGB header to the motherboard.

Using Trixx Boost, the RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition graphics card can be pushed up to 2730MHz, a 70MHz increase over the standard Toxic Edition card. The Sapphire RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition cards are already being shipped, so they should be available soon.

KitGuru says: We can not confirm that this card used the Navi 21 XTXH GPU, but considering the boost clock improvement, it sure seems like it. Are you looking for a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card for your system? Are you considering the Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition?
