PNY CS2211 240GB SSD Review

Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V3.0.3.

The CS2211 doesn't handle reading high queue depths of small files as well as other drives we've tested but having said that it hammers the last PNY XLR8 240GB drive we looked at. When it comes to writing data at the same high queue depth however it has no such problem producing a very healthy score of 377.1MB/s.

The controller has a definite preference for compressed data when it comes to random reads at all sizes and depth of data as can be seen from the 0-fill Crystal Disk Mark results.
