4K Random Read v QD Performance Comparison

While the SSD 905P may not be breaking any speed records when it comes to Sequential performance, it's an entirely different matter when it comes to reading small chunks of data at low queue depths. It's an absolute monster, kicking sand in the face of every other consumer drive we've tested.

It's only at a fairly deep queue depth of 32 that the performance of the drive gives way to a standard NAND equipped drive.
