Tomb Raider received much acclaim from critics, who praised the graphics, the gameplay and Camilla Luddington’s performance as Lara with many critics agreeing that the game is a solid and much needed reboot of the franchise. Much criticism went to the addition of the multiplayer which many felt was unnecessary. We test at 1440p and 4K with the ‘ULTIMATE’ image quality profile selected.

At 2560×1440, Chillblast's system sees an increase of 10 FPS over the GTX 970 OCUK system on the average frame rate, and 12 FPS in the minimum.

Depending on your definition of the word, these 4K results are just about playable, although with a minimum FPS of 26 it’s likely to get choppy without reducing the detail setting.
