Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V3.0.3. We test the Solid State Drive and the mechanical drive.
The SSD speed is one of the fastest results we’ve ever seen from Crystal Disk Mark, while the 190 MB/sec achieved by the Seagate SSHD is also quite good.
ATTO shows the same story. Clearly PCI-Express is the future of SSDs, and it’s quite amazing to think the small green PCB inserted into the motherboard’s M.2 socket is capable of such fast transfer rates.
