noise

We measured acoustic performance in a slightly different environment to previous reviews, so these results cannot be directly compared, as the background noise was 38dBa. However it does show that at idle the Fusion Master only increased this to 41dBa, which indicates very quiet normal performance. Subjectively, in use, the system appears to be silent.

For the load measurement, we ran Prime 95 to maximise the load on all CPU cores and the fans did indeed spin up. In this situation, it was (subjectively) quite noticeable, but not too much to be a problem. In games, we noticed the fans did not spin up all the time in this way.
