Arctic Power Bank 4000 Review

Everything considered we are impressed with what the Arctic Power Bank 4000 has to offer.  While it may not be the most inspiring product in terms of aesthetic design, this will likely help it appeal to a wider audience which includes business users.  It is available in blue and bright pink, though, for those who prefer more flashy aesthetics.

We were particularly impressed with the level of build quality offered by the Power Bank 4000 which surpasses almost every Arctic mobile product that we have reviewed in the past.  The combination of brushed black aluminium and soft-touch plastic feel suitably premium and are sure to satisfy even the most quality conscious users.

In terms of performance, the Power Bank 4000 delivered a full charge of our iPhone 6 from flat, but fell below the 25% mark doing so.  While this might not be quite as good as the 4000 mAh capacity would suggest, it will surely be attractive to those users who find themselves having to re-charge their mobile devices after less than a day when they are out and about.

Perhaps the only negative aspect of the Power Bank 4000 is that there is only one USB charging port on the unit.  A number of competing models offer two or more USB charging ports – allowing the charging of multiple devices at once.

When it comes to value for money, the Arctic Power Bank 4000 does not disappoint.  It can be purchased for a shade under £15 from Amazon UK, making it pretty good value indeed.  At this price, it should even make sense for those users who would only use it occasionally.
