LG launches League Edition 27GR95QL OLED gaming monitor

LG launched a limited-edition UltraGear OLED gaming monitor for LoL fans. The monitor boasts a unique League of Legends theme applied to its exterior and on-screen menus, built with crucial input from League of Legends players. In addition to a brilliant 27-inch OLED display with a fast 240Hz refresh rate, this 27GR95QL monitor is filled with gamer-centric features, as one would expect from an UltraGear device.

The limited-edition League of Legends UltraGear 27GR95QL OLED gaming monitor is the result of LG's cooperation with Riot Games. The popular MOBA introduced in 2009 has the largest gaming audience in all of esports. Approximately 600 million people have played League of Legends, and the game has an average of 180 million players every month.

The 27GR95QL is suited to play League of Legends competitively, with a 27-inch screen, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a response time of 0.03 ms (GTG). The QHD OLED display also supports HDR10 and covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. LG's limited-edition UltraGear OLED gaming display takes on League of Legends' Hextech-themed design, merging iconography and visuals from the game into its menu panels and appearance. The rear of the monitor and the front of its stand have been decorated with game-related emblems and patterns. Moreover, the OSD menus include the game's logo, as well as typefaces and borders based on the League of Legends theme.

The LG UltraGear League of Legends limited-edition model is only available in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea, and is sold via LG's website directly. Customers who pre-order the 27GR95QL will get three League of Legends skin codes.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
