Stadia now supports wireless controller on PC and HDR web streaming

It has been a slow process, but Google Stadia has been improving in the last few months. Stadia's free tier is now available, Chrome browser streaming has full 4K support and now, HDR can also be streamed over the web.

Previously, 4K/HDR streaming was only available on Stadia when streaming with a Chromecast Ultra. However, you can now stream the best quality possible via the Chrome web browser too, bringing it to many more users.

To get HDR running on a PC using Chrome, you will need to enable VP9 hardware decoding in the browser and be connected to a HDR capable display.  You can find the full instructions, HERE.

Aside from higher quality options, another update this week finally brought wireless Stadia controller support to PCs. So you can finally play Stadia the way it was intended without a Chromecast Ultra.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
