We’re looking to hire a new Hardware Reviewer!

We publish a lot of reviews here at KitGuru and we would like to ramp things up even further. With that in mind, we are looking to hire a new hardware reviewer to join the team!

We are currently accepting applications for a hardware reviewer. When applying, please list fields you are most knowledgeable in, such as ‘peripherals', ‘motherboards', ‘cases', ‘networking', ‘cooling' etc. If you have any sample reviews of your own work, please include them when applying. These can be written or video reviews.

Since this job deals with expensive hardware, applicants will need to be based in the United Kingdom as it will make sending and receiving samples easier for everyone involved. Experience working in hardware reviews is beneficial but if you are trying to break into the field, we are happy to take a look at what you can do.

Those looking to apply will need:

  • Strong all around tech/hardware knowledge.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent writing abilities (English only).
  • Ability to work from home.
  • Photography skills (for product photos).

A good grasp of the KitGuru editorial style is also essential, you can check out our currently published reviews to get an idea of what we are looking for in terms of format and detail.

If you are interested and feel you can meet the criteria above, then please send your CV along with samples of your work to allan(at)kitguru.net with the subject line ‘Hardware reviewer application'.

While this has worked in the past, Black Ops 7 seems to have been a breaking point for some. According to known insiders, Microsoft is now considering a major shake-up, including a standalone Zombies game.
