Acer brings back glasses-free stereoscopic 3D with the SpatialLabs View Pro 27

The SpatialLabs View Pro 27 is Acer's new glasses-free stereoscopic 3D display. The display, designed as a 3D canvas for artists and developers, is powered by SpatialLabs' stereoscopic 3D solution and is complemented by the new Acer Immerse Audio system.

The Acer SpatialLabs View Pro 27 (ASV27-2P) combines passive 3D technology and stereo real-time rendering to help designers bring 3D experiences to life. The 3D display employs an eye-tracking module to monitor the location and movement of users in real-time, even in low-light conditions. The 27-inch 4K UHD display has 2D and 3D modes, enabling users to select between 2D and 3D stereoscopic views. The panel's 160Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness, and DeltaE<2 colour accuracy ensure a good viewing experience. A retractable hood on the monitor improves perceived colour fidelity and reduces distractions, allowing users to remain focused while seeing their drawings on screen.

The Acer SpatialLabs View Pro 27 monitor includes the company's new Immerse Audio system, a technology capable of generating spatial music thanks to an AI-powered system using beamforming directed acoustic signal transmissions and head-tracking systems. The sound comes from two front-facing 2.5-W speakers.

With SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro support, users can benefit from tools such as SpatialLabs Model Viewer and add-ons for design software that aid in expediting processes and creating 3D content using famous graphics engines such as Unreal and Unity. The Experience Center Pro also has the Steam VR bridge, which helps VR and XR creators convert their work into high-resolution, glasses-free 3D images.

The display's ErgoStand allows users to tilt, swivel, pivot, and adjust the height. Moreover, the monitor is VESA mount-compatible. The monitor also has various connection options, including HDMI 2.1, USB-C, DP 2.0, and two USB-A. The Acer SpatialLabs View Pro 27 will be released in Q1 2024.
