Overclockers RENDA PW-E7F Workstation Review

Rating: 8.0.

Overclockers is a company that will be better known here at KitGuru for its choice selection of enthusiast components and lovingly enhanced gaming systems. But the ability to put together a quality system is potentially something of interest to the professional market as well as more entertainment-oriented users. With one of the world’s greatest ever overclockers designing all its systems, Overclockers has plenty of potential here. This brings us to the RENDA brand, which is Overclockers’ new workstation range. Our first taste is the PW-E7F.

For its debut RENDA system, Overclockers has kept reasonably close to form, and supplied a frequency-enhanced workstation as its first foray into this new market. The PW-E7F goes for the jugular with an eight-core Intel Core i7-5960X, which comes from the fifth-generation Haswell range, running at 4.2GHz.

There’s 32GB of RAM and 8GB AMD FirePro W8100 professional 3D graphics acceleration. So there is no expense spared on the core specification, giving this system every chance to excel. Read on to find out how it fared in our grueling suite of tests.
