Following a great deal of back-and-forth, it seems Sony is planning to host a State of Play video game showcase next month in June.

In an interesting move, it seems Sony is planning to skip the typical Summer game announcements, with their next showcase currently penned for September.

Yesterday following news of the release date for Borderlands 4 being brought forward, Gearbox revealed all-new details about the game and dropped a gameplay trailer.
