It’s been a while since we’ve last had a new original game from Naughty Dog, with their most recent release being The Last of Us Part II back in 2020. When they do return however, it’ll be in a pretty major way, having previously announced and teased their brand new IP ‘Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet’. While we have yet to get a concrete release date, insiders have now claimed that the project is planned to arrive sometime next year in 2027.

Capcom has reported another strong quarter, driven by continued sales of Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata. Both titles are performing extremely well, with Requiem surpassing 8 million copies sold and Pragmata reaching the 2.5 million sales milestone.

Amazon Japan may have revealed the new release date for 007 First Light on Switch 2. The game was originally planned to launch day‑and‑date with other platforms, but the Switch 2 version was delayed and has not yet received an official update.

A new report claims CD Projekt Red had a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners game in development, created in partnership with WayForward. Before you get too excited though, it also appears that the game may have been scrapped after an early prototyping phase.

February 2027 is shaping up to be an incredibly busy month for game releases. Not only will we see titles like Fable, Persona 4 Revival and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, but now Sony has also confirmed that the next God of War game will also launch that month.

Amazon Games has quietly delayed Tomb Raider: Catalyst, the next new game in the series following on from the remake, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. The game had previously been announced for a 2027 release, but Amazon has now confirmed that the title will arrive in 2028 instead.

Halo Campaign Evolved is now out for those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition. As you may expect, some hardcore fans have already completed the game on Legendary difficulty, and in keeping with the series' usual tradition, finishing the game on Legendary does unlock a secret cutscene.
