Galaxy GTX 460 GC 768MB Review

When it came time to overclocking our review sample we used MSI Afterburner 2.0.

We were able to add an additional 100 MHz to the factory overclocked core speed taking it up to 800 MHz and we were also able to push the memory speed up another 152 MHz to 2 GHz. These number represent pretty decent overclocking results overall.

Increasing our card to 800/2000 MHz produced substantial gains in our Vantage testing. We achieved an increase of 1500 points in our overall GPU score. We also saw increases of 4-5 FPS in the 2 GPU tests.

The Galaxy GTX 460 GC thrived on the increased clock speeds while testing UNiGiNE Heaven Benchmark. Adding 5 FPS to our average frame rate at 1080p is an excellent result and we also added close to 9 FPS to our minimum results. For a card at this price point it's hard to go wrong with the Galaxy GTX 460 GC.
