Futuremark is one of the largest benchmarking companies on the planet and 3dMark 06 is a useful suite to measure CPU performance.

3DMark Vantage Professional

3DMark Vantage has two CPU tests on offer, which cover the two most commonplace CPU based requirements: Artificial Intelligence simulation and Physics Simulation.

The results are pretty much as expected with the 980x showing huge gains when overclocked by 1.3ghz. Once again the Asus board is able to let all the configurations shine.
